Mia Zanic
Mia was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She double majored in English and French at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and completed her law degree at the Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland.
During law school, Mia was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society and represented QUB at the ICC’s International Commercial Mediation Competition in Paris, France. She went on to be the society’s secretary in her last year.
After returning to Vancouver, Mia articled with Preszler Injury Lawyers before being called to the Bar. She wasimmediately exposed to the world of litigation by assisting and running trials in the Supreme Court as an articled student and then lawyer with the firm. She regularly appears in master’s chambers.
In her spare time, Mia enjoys cooking, travelling, and walking her dog Leo around the local mountains.
